1997 Ford Taurus “Reevers Ride”
About the 1996–1999 Ford Taurus
The Oval (Third-Gen) Taurus earned its nickname from that distinctive rounded styling Ford introduced for 1996, and the builds here show just how far owners push these sedans — from a dark '98 with a custom grille to a pair of '99s rolling on aftermarket wheels. You'll spot a red '97 rocking a front-end bra, a black '99 parked on foggy waterfront gravel, and interior details like carbon fiber trim around the shifter, proving these oval-bodied Fords still get plenty of love.
The story
Bought used.
Only problem is with interior lights staying on, door locks won't stay down. Other than that, very satisfied with "das bull". Just got rid of '86 T-Bird with 196,000 miles. — Bob Reeves
