“Red Rogue”1978 Ford LTD II

The story

Car was purchased off of E-bay in on March 26, 2004 for $1300.00. I picked the car up in Sumpter, SC on the 28th. The car was totally rust free and still had the original interior but the the original paint was worn, "S" package decals severely deteriorated and exhaust system rotted off. Exhaust system was replaced by mid April, while sanding for repainting was under way. The car went to Maaco the first week of May for Russet Red Metalic (Acryllic enamel eith urethene clear coat) paint. In mid may the seats were recovered as close to original as possible seat covers and carpeting was replaced. The car was entered in its first ever car show (Wings & Wheels 2004) on Memorial Day weekend at the Millville, NJ Airport.. In july it took first place in "BEST FORD" category at the car show at Delsea Regional High School in Franklinville, NJ. Since then has received several top 40 awards at local South Jersey Car Shows. — fordznut
