The Oval (Third-Gen) Taurus earned its nickname from that distinctive rounded styling Ford introduced for 1996, and the builds here show just how far owners push these sedans — from a dark '98 with a custom grille to a pair of '99s rolling on aftermarket wheels. You'll spot a red '97 rocking a front-end bra, a black '99 parked on foggy waterfront gravel, and interior details like carbon fiber trim around the shifter, proving these oval-bodied Fords still get plenty of love.
The story
My Taurus is black metallic with chrome rims along with the LX package. It's loaded with all the options plus a sunroof. Also equipped with dual exhaust, tinted windows, and blue lights on hood where the windsheild washer fliud comes out(looks really cool!). Only performance upgrade so far is a K&N air filter but i plan on getting a better exhaust system. A lot of people mistake it for an SHO, but it's not. — Michael Regan
