About the 1980–1983 Ford F-100
The 1980–1983 Bullnose F-100 might be the last of its line, but these trucks are far from retired — members here have them out on rocky forest trails covered in autumn leaves, buried axle-deep in mud, and hauling custom buggies through the woods. From undercarriage close-ups showing differential and axle setups to rigs rolling on tractor tires, this generation hub captures Bullnose F-100s being built, beaten, and loved by their owners.
The story
i am the second owner. I bought the truck off a parts guys wife who i met at the dealership i used to work for. its a short bed step side with the regular cab. 15 X 10 american racing rims wrapped in dayton daytona 295/50/15 skins on all 4 corners. i recently added 3 inch dropped I beams and a spring flip kit in the rear to make it look less like a 4X4. I removed the tailgate and rear bumper and added a sir michaels steel roll pan. also to help vith ventilation i had a sun roof installed. future mods include a 4" chop on the roof and airbags, as well as a fresh coat of Isuzu Motors Bonsai Blue paint. — curtis Theriault
