“Grey Ghost”1966 Ford Galaxie

The story

My brother bought this car in all original condition sweet with only 48,000 miles on it a couple years ago. I kept it at my house and drove it daily for a while until the water pump failed one morning. He decided he wanted to build a hot rod, so he ordered the engine trans and a pile of other shit. We are currently working on this one, and I dont have any updated pix as he has since moved back to Az, and the car is in my Father in Law's shed awaiting some fabrication (Headers, drive shaft, seat mounts) It will be getting disc brakes in the front as well as the rear. The seats will come out of a late model Lincoln probably a MKZ or or LS, something sporty and heated with all power in black leather. The wheels are still not decided yet as we have to complete the disc brake rear before getting final measurements and we are thinking of mini tubs to run a wide rear tire/wheel, but I expect I will splurge on some nice Boyd custom wheels maybe the Salt Flats design with blacked out or gunmetal centers and polished lips. I hope my brother gets time to come out start working on it soon, or I will take over and try my best to procure the title to it as well! — BronCummins
