The story
this car was a DSO 84 home office reserve car. it was loaded with options and was used as a demo car by Gene Gabbard Lincoln Mercury of stockton california in 1969. my grandfather purchased this car from the dealership in 1970 with 7,000 or so miles on it. the car was an M code 4 barrel 351 and was equipped with auto trans, PS, PDB, A/C, cruise, tilt, AM/FM stereo, rear window defog, space saver spare tire, remote trunk latch, console, power windows, intermittent wipers, appearance protection group, 351 performance package (with hood scoop, hood lock pins, and stripes, chrome styled steel wheels, heavy duty suspension package, trailer hitch, extra cooling package, and a few more things that are escaping me now. the car was wrecked and rebuilt several times until it was decided to part it out due to the fact only one quarter panel and the roof were stock! — Tom Cherry AKA Hawkrod
