The story
Bought this truck a few years ago for 4 grand. Only had 31,000 miles on it. It was stationed in Okinawa and the Marines used it to haul around aircraft parts at an airbase. At the time it was in great shape. It is called a CUCV (Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicle. The government bought these trucks from GM and put camo, black-out lights, gun racks, radios, tow shackles, a pintle hitch, a NATO slave receptacle, heavier leaf springs to give it the rating of 1 1/4 ton, dual alternators, and converted the entire electrical system to run off 24V instead of 12V to power extra equipment. — 427vette
